Île du Lion
Located off the coast of Stora, close to the Île Srigina, Île du Lion is a small rocky islet in the Mediterranean Sea. It is characterised by its rugged, sloping terrain and distinctive rocky summit, where a navigation beacon stands as a maritime landmark. Surrounded by deep blue waters and smaller rocky outcrops, the islet forms part of the coastal landscape of the Gulf of Skikda. Although its name translates to "Lion Island", the historical origin of the name remains undocumented.
