Oeno Atoll
Oeno Atoll is a remote coral atoll located in the South Pacific Ocean, approximately 120 kilometres northwest of Pitcairn Island. It forms part of the Pitcairn Islands, a British Overseas Territory, and consists of a central shallow lagoon surrounded by a coral reef and several small sandy islands, including Oeno Island and Sandy Islet. The atoll is characterised by its clear tropical waters, extensive coral formations and rich marine biodiversity. Its isolated location and lack of permanent settlement have helped preserve its relatively undisturbed ecosystem, making it an important area for marine conservation and scientific research.
