Pandora Island

Named after the British frigate HMS Pandora—which chanced upon Ducie Atoll in 1791 while hunting the Bounty mutineers—this small islet sits on the southern edge of the atoll between Edwards and Westward islets. It is a completely uninhabited landmass within the Pitcairn Islands group, consisting of little more than a low strip of ocean debris isolated in the South Pacific.
